Almost There
Last week I visited Ode’ studio to checked on the print. I must say the black one looks pretty nice. There are couple of adjustment need to be done but can’t wait to see its final shape as a dress.

Otoko Goes to (Capsule)
Otoko is a new menswear store in Jakarta. Above is a short clip of their recent buying trip to Capsule show, pretty jealous to be honest, always want to visit Capsule show. News said that the store will be open around September and will carry some menswear brands that are not available in Jakarta before like Yuketen, Engineered Garments etc.
I hope that business will run smoothly for them since we need more this kinda store around.
F.I.L. Singapore
Couple weeks ago I had the chance to visit Visvim’s newest store (FIL) in singapore. The store itself located at Raffles Hotel Arcade which I think suite FIL’s concept. Old furniture that being used are such a compliment to the whole look of the store. Just like other FIL stores, theres no music, all the staff try to whisper when they talked to each other (when customers are around) and the smells of FIL NO. 1 filled the room.
A recommended store to visit if you’re in Singapore. You might not buying anything but the whole experience of being inside the store is enough.

Know Canada
Bruce Mau Design just launched a campaign for Canada called ‘Know Canada’. The tagline try to counter those American jokes about Canada that you’ve heard in movies, talkshows etc. The studio use two red bars that Canada uses on their flag as bracket to state celebrities, products and bunch of other stuff that originally made or came from Canada. Such a simply and modern approach I reckon, and many forward thinking countries or citys are using the same idea.
